Your Pets Home: Colorado

Pet type: Rabbit

Suki was our family’s first real pet. he was a tri-color Mini Rex rabbit, and we had him for nearly his whole life, from age 9 months to 5 years, when we lost him. He was such a sweet little bunny, and absolutely loved attention. We enjoyed taking him to play outside on his leash, to jump around in leaves, and to enjoy some binkying. He trained us to give him treats when he came to the edge of the kitchen, and it never failed to get him something tasty to munch on! Suki was our little loaf, adorabunny, and Sukibuns. He gave us so many happy memories, from opening our Christmas presents to running around my feet while I was practicing piano until I would stop and pet him. Unfortunately, about a week before his death he stopped moving around as much and took less interest in food and water. He still loved to eat treats and be pet, but he stopped walking. Either through a parasite or potentially from a mis-timed jump that damaged his nervous system, his back legs became paralyzed. We had to put him down today, September 26th, 2019. It was the hardest thing for us to do, but we know you’re in a better place now and won’t have to suffer any more. We already miss you so, so much Suki, and we will love you forever. Can’t wait to see you again someday baby <3 Rest well
