Mandell was a brother, a uncle, a grandpa & a fantastic friend!! He spent most of his life helping his family. He would give the shirt off his back or the last cigarette from his pack. Although he was not religious he was spiritual. He enjoyed being involved with groups that made a difference. He volunteered for the Baltimore Humane Society for 12 years because of the love of animals. He was part of several sci-fi groups including Starfleet, & HMS Hercules. He was a HUGE lover of books & movies. He could be found in front of a screen or behind a book. He had a very gentle soul but if he got provoked he was a force to be reckoned with. He was compassionate and engaging with all he met. To the man who thought he never made a difference. OUR lives have been made different knowing Mandell !! He has left us too soon and we miss him already!
