Arlene Burke, age 71, of Granada Hills, California was born in Bayonne, NJ on June 10, 1944. Her parents were Charles & Olga McGuire of Stanhope, NJ. She passed away on March 25, 2016 after 16 days of hospitalization from a broken hip. She contracted a major infection while in the hospital, which was the cause of her death. She was a retired File Clerk from 20th Century Insurance Co in Woodland Hills. She lived with her ex-husband, Charlie Burke, who was her full time caregiver due to her diagnosis of Parkinson’s Disease with Dementia. She is survived by her son, Charles Burke (from Camarillo Ca.) & her sister Carole Dunstan (from Ave Maria Florida). She had 2 grandchildren: Bradley (10) & Kira (7). There were also several nieces, cousins & nephews. Arlene was a warm & compassionate person who will be sorely missed by all that knew her. Arlene was my best friend. She was cremated & had a brief Memorial service at her residence.
