Heinz Glatzer, 85, passed away at Hospice Austin’s Christopher House, after his 4 1/2 month fight with cancer, on December 20, 2014 at 11:30 pm. He was a 29 year resident of Fort Pierce, Florida, where he retired after working for 25 years for the Ford Motor Company in Mahwah, New Jersey. He commuted for many years from his home in Middletown, New York. Heinz and his wife, Inge, and their eldest daughter, Marion, immigrated to the U.S.A. from Germany in 1955 to New York where they raised their 3 daughters, Marion Curko, Sylvia O’Brien and Germaine Vidal. He had 7 grandchildren, Heidi Curko, Gretchen Madore, Erik Curko, John Vidal Jr., Christopher Vidal, William Vidal and Kenneth O’Brien, 5 great grandchildren, Mia and Ava Colangelo, Lucian and Christian Madore and Aria Vidal. He is preceded in death by his uncle Alfred Glatzer, and parents Heinrich and Margaretha Glatzer. Rest in Eternal Peace and Glory with the Lord.
