Joseph R. Denton, born August 30, 1940, passed away on June 28, 2021. My husband loved adventure! When I met him, he was a skilled whitewater boater — canoe, raft, and kayak. We moved from Mississippi in 1984 and lived in Idaho for 33 years, where he became an avid skier and snowboarder. He taught me everything I know, and gave me the confidence that I could do anything. We bought a jet boat to go to our place in the Idaho Wilderness, and learned how to navigate rivers “backward” in no time. I was never afraid when I was with him. He could do anything, was always confident, and had a zest for life. I miss you, Joe.
