James M. Gehri, age 40, passed away suddenly of a heart attack at his home in Bakersfield, California on March 4, 2017. Born August 8, 1976 in Waunakee, Wisconsin, James had always found passion in sports and his family. Bestowed with an incredible sense of humor, James improved the life of all who were around him. James is survived by his two children Jesse Gehri and Josh Gehri, his wife Amy Gehri, and his sister Kathy Acker. A service and burial will occur at the Bakersfield Funeral Home on a date to be announced at a future time. In remembrance of James’ captivating spirit, the Gehri family has asked for donations in his name to any charitable organization of choice.
