Frederick Robert Strough

Place of birth: Philadelphia

Religious affiliation: Catholic

Frederick Robert Strough was named after a great uncle who served his country in World War II. Fred was a force to be reckoned with and when he put his mind to something he would see it through to the end. He was the “jack of all trades master of none” however, he mastered many trades. He was a carpenter, car mechanic, cubical installer, and finally an warehouse manager. Frederick was an avid tropical fish enthusiast and won several awards for his breeding of red delta guppies and he is also the person responsible for the silver hooded rat.  Fred worked everyday of his life to support his family. He never wanted anything but the best for his children and grand children . He was a little rough around the edges and did not have a problem getting up and standing up for his rights. Some of his favorite past times were reading Dean Koontz books and fishing. His favorite poem was Footprints and right now he is walking with along the beach and no longer being carried.
