Alonzo Smith was born in Duval County FL. June 12,1942. He later moved to Orange County FL, around 1960 and became employed by the City of Winter Park where he worked for years before becoming an entrepreneur using his skills and talents as a bricklayer to create some of the beautiful driveways and streets of Winter Park and surrounding areas. Alonzo work can still be seen throughout the streets and driveways some the elite homes in Winter Park. On March 28,2017 Alonzo Smith passed away after a long illness.

In 1981 Alonzo married his sweetheart Caroline Small, together they had 2 sons , which then made Alonzo father to 3 children. As far as is known Alonzo has in the last 25 to 30 years fathered another child her name and where about is currently unknown. Alonzo leaves behind 2 daughters , Ms. Carol Smith Howell of Winter Park Fl. and a estranged unknown daughter last known where about Sanford Fl. and 1 Son Mark Anthony Smith and a host of grandchildren. Alonzo was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn Elaine Smith, his son Brandon Smith, his sister Gracie Mae Lloyd and his Sister Geraldine Harmon. Alonzo will be greatly missed.
