:Richard G. “Rick” Vargo, 40, of Weirton passed away Sunday August 24, 2014

Born on June 18, 1974, in Toledo, OH, Rick was a son of Ricarda Simon Vargo and the late Christopher Vargo.

Rick graduated with a degree in criminal justice from Jefferson Community College and was employed as a shuttle bus driver for E & S Parking in Pittsburgh.

He loved to watch TV and eat hamburger helper, but most of all he loved spending time with his family.. He knew the Lord and was not ashamed to share Jesus. He would always say ” If you did not stand for anything you would fall for anything.” Rick will always be remembered for brightening up your day and putting a smile on your face.

When Rick and I first met we became best friends. We would just hang out together he would do anything to treat me special and with respect even when we were just friends. One time when he had his hernia operation he slept on the floor so i could sleep on the couch he was selfless he always cared about me. Another time i remember he made me a bowl of chicken noodle just because i had a stuffy nose. We never really went on a date together but the first time we went somewhere we went to a church service. After the church service he dropped me off to my grandmother’s house he asked me for a hug my grandmother later said you better watch it he likes you. Well grandma was right but i didn’t realize it till a year later We were married in Toledo Ohio and we moved to Wv. We were married 21 years he would always add an extra year in faith we would be together another year. The thing i loved about him was Rick loved me for me He would have stayed with me another 21 years. I know he watches over me from heaven and one day we will be reunited again.
