William Alseda Stanley (Bill) passed away at the age of 90. On Dec. 28th 2017 Mercy Hospital Redding Ca. With Rosena Gordon his significant other by his side. Bill was the 4th born of six children to Father Samuel Herschel Stanley born 1896 Hendricks Co Indiana,Mother Lessie Pharis Prebster born 1896 Hendricks co Indiana He had 4 brothers and one Sister. Tillman Earnest Stanley 1917-1997,Josephine Ella Stanley 1920-2002 Harold Ralph Stanley 1922-1988, Frank Bergman Stanley 1932-2007. The only surviving sibling is his brother Leslie Vernon Stanley. Loving father to Bill jr., Sandy, Susan, Patsy, Pamela, Debra and Karen grandfather to 12 grandchildren great-grandfather to 4 great-grand children also 5 great-great grand children

Resided in Indiana served in the U.S. Army from 1945- 1948 WWII . Moved to Hayward Calif. retired from Air/Gas in Oakland Ca. moved to Redding, Ca.enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening, restoring and repairing old Cuckoo clocks. also had several collections metal banks and Avon steins,his earlier years enjoyed black & white photography. Joined Nor-Cal Antique tractor & engine club branch #114 in 2001 with his good friend Harold Ray, started rebuilding antique tractors enjoyed driving his tractor to county fairs all around Shasta County,Christmas parades. He will be missed by Family and Friends from Indiana, Michigan,Hayward,Ca.and Redding , Anderson, Ca.areas.
