Randall “Randy” Bruce Bilyeu, 54, of Broomfield, Colorado, was declared missing on January 14, 2016 and confirmed deceased on July 26, 2016 in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Randy was doing something that he treasured, exploring nature, when he had an unfortunate accident near the Rio Grande. Randy is survived by his children Carissa (Jon) Nieves, Michelle (David) Stoker, his sister Kathy Leibold, his nephew Chad Leibold, and his two granddaughters Faith and Lily. Randy was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to all. Randy was born on February 21, 1961 in Glen Cove on Long Island, New York to Robert and Dolores Bilyeu. He graduated from Walt Whitman High School in 1979. Throughout his adult life, Randy lived in Long Island, Orlando, Atlanta, and Broomfield working in various sales positions. He loved sports, the outdoors, classic rock music, the Orlando Magic, and making his granddaughters laugh. A private family gathering will be held in Orlando to remember and celebrate Randy’s life. If you would like to honor Randy’s memory, we ask that donations be made to a charity close to Randy’s heart, the Orlando Magic Youth Foundation. He had a passion for helping kids be active and finding their self esteem through sports.
