Local blind sculptor found dead in life raft.
Patty Moran, PhD, 63, born and raised in Seattle was found dead in life raft 6 days after her boat, The Kaizen sank somewhere in the Pacific Ocean.
Her 3 woman crew, married couple Jules and Katie Jacobs 60 and 62 and their niece, Stacy Phillips, 18 were never found.
Patty is survived by 4 brothers, 5 sisters, 8 nieces, 6 nephews and 15 greats nieces and nephews.
Private memorial will be Tuesday, June 23, 2015.
