Maxine R. Bass, age 74, was called home to be with The Lord Tuesday January 10, 2017. Maxine was born in Cleveland Ohio where she was known as “Max”. Max is preceded in death by her parents Victor and Constance Smyth. She is survived by her cherished children, Vernard and Marvell; sisters, Nancy Smyth and Cathy (Dan) Shaw; grandchildren, Taryn Bass, Danielle Edwards, Damon Edwards and Abby Lutz; great grandson, Andre Raglin; as well as many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. Max was loved by all and he had an incredible zest and enthusiasm for life which was especially apparent with his children. Max had a giant personality; no matter where she was Max was a place unto herself. She treasured her time with her family and friends during frequent visits to Columbus Ohio. She will be truly missed by many.
