I lost my wife to cancer in October of 2019. This is a picture of her ashes being released into the ocean. This was one the most difficult days of my life. This is a very difficult picture for me look at. I would say it helps me lean into the pain of loosing my wife of 40 years. My two children and I wanted a sunny spring day to release her ashes, but I felt uncomfortable keeping them in the home (that’s just me). So we did it on a Sunday in January. This photo represents a release for me. I will be with her again some day. Thank you for all the wonderful work you do at Healgrief.org.
