Frayda Kafka, 75, passed away peacefully in her home on January 27th, 2017. Frayda was the center around which her dedicated circle of family and lifelong friends revolved. She was a well-known and much loved member of her community in the Woodstock area since 1972. Frayda was a hypnotherapist, healer, and was committed to helping people stop smoking, and make positive changes in their lives. Frayda was an incredible listener, insightful giver of advice, and always pounced at the chance to dance when the opportunity arose.
Funeral Notice Detail
Frayda is survived by her daughter Nica, son-in-law Ben, their children Joseph and Juliana; her son Alex, daughter-in-law Jennifer, and their children Amelia and Jacob. She is also survived by her sister Nancy, niece Aviva, Aviva's husband Eric, and children Ben and Lily as well as countless dear friends who were cherished as true family members. Frayda was predeceased by her beloved husband Al Mamlet, who passed away in 1998.
