David Anthony McCrae III

The first son of David and Martha McCrae was born in California in 1950. Oldest of 4, father of 4, and grandfather of 6. A brilliant mind, MENSA High-IQ Society, a builder, engineer, and the hardest working person you’d ever meet. Whether in the Cleveland Steel Mills or in Federal Courts assisting countless homeowners, his heart was almost as large as his laugh.  No one laughed harder at his own jokes, often never even reaching the punchline.  His positive spirit was a role model to many and he will be deeply missed.  Dave is survived by his loving wife, Barb McCrae of 46 years. His 4 children: David, Jessica, Matt, and Joseph and his 6 grandchildren: Isla, Ciera, Dylan, Shayla, Joel, and Alex. Along with his siblings Lynn Duffy and Jim McCrae. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Beth Lyda.

There will a small memorial service, Friday, May 3rd at the Hope House, Burnet, TX. From 10:30 AM with food afterwards. Address: 700 Janet Drive
