Clifford (Cliff) Montgomery

Clifford (Cliff) I Montgomery, 55, of Edinburgh passed away February 6, 2018 at his residence due to Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. He was born on August 7, 1962 at Johnson County Memorial Hospital to the late Barbara (Alford) and Everett Montgomery. Cliff was a man who liked to keep to himself, but had a select group of long lasting, loyal friends throughout his life. He loved spoiling and spending time with his best friend, Joe, who was his late mother’s bird. Cliff grew up in Greenwood, Indiana and went to Center Grove High School. Since the age of sixteen he was a hard working carpenter for Ryland Homes until a few years ago. Cliff is survived by two sisters, Vickie Leeper, and Wanda Montgomery; one brother, George Montgomery; seven nieces and nephews; and numerous great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Barbara and Everett Montgomery; and one brother, Johnny Montgomery. There will be a celebration of life at a beautiful place where his family and friends can come together to honor his memory at a later date.
