Bev enlisted in the Navy in 1950 at Great Lakes Illinois Training Center, then to the Naval Air Station in Corpus Christie, Texas where she met her husband, Jack.  Married in Honolulu, Hawaii on May 23rd, 1953, they later moved to Louisville, Ky. where their only daughter, Missy (Ann Currie) was born in 1962.   Jack’s job brought them to Lexington in 1967.  Bev and Jack were members of Southland Christian Church.  Bev enjoyed playing golf, sitting by her pool, flower gardening, traveling and going out to eat with family and friends.   She began a home health care business to carry out her mission of helping families care for their loved ones in their homes.  She tirelessly cared for many who became like family to her.  Her grand-daughter Maggie continues the business in her honor.
