Kay was born January 7, 1944, in Monticello, Ill., the daughter of Ward Wellington Edwards and Inez Marie (Marvel) Edwards. Ms Pearson moved to California in the 1960’s after graduating from Mansfield High School. She received her beautician license from Marinello School of Beauty. Kay married Anthony Edward Pearson in April 1971 and shortly after they celebrated the birth of their daughter, Donna Kay Pearson. Kay spent 25 years as a hair dresser, including owning her own shop in Bellflower, CA. She spent 8 years working in a beauty supply story and then moved on to a dental office. She retired in 2007 from Delta Dental PMI.
Kay was an Elvis fan and member of the Jailhouse Rockers for 13 years. She even made the pilgrimage to Graceland once.

Funeral Notice Detail
T Kay Pearson, (73), of Santa Maria, CA., died January 24, 2017. Our hearts are heavy with loss, but we celebrate the importance of a loving mother and grandmother. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law Randy and Donna Beal, her grandchildren, Paige and Wyatt; her brothers and spouses, George and Wilma Edwards, DeLand, IL, Hobart and Norma Edwards, Mahomet, IL, Jim and Linda Edwards, Bloomington, IL; sisters, Jean Edwards and Cleta Dotson, Santa Maria, CA 10 nieces and nephews, 11 great nieces and nephews. Kay was preceded in death by her parents, sister Ginny and brother Robert.
