Shelby Jean Pepper
Place of birth: Dakota, IL.
Shelby Jean Pepper grew up in Dakota, IL. and later moved to Freeport IL. She is survived by her Brother Rudy Pepper. Rudy and his wife Patty wanted to share the following words for Shelby.
“Shelby had the biggest heart of anyone we knew. She was a woman that was always willing to go without to help someone else. Her nickname was Teddy. She loved animals, especially cats. She kept to herself and minded her own business. Every day for over 40 years, she had her daily visits to McDonald’s, Salvation Army, and Freeport Public Library. Dragon Popcorn also became a daily visit. She never missed a phone call to Rudy every day. We lost a sister, best friend, and mentor. Heaven gained an Angel and she will be missed every day.”
At Shelby’s request, she will not have a funeral service. She will be brought to Dahlonega, GA to be near her brother Rudy.
