Sally Johnson

We are gathered her today for the death of Sally Mae Johnson. Sally Mae was blessed to live to the age of 69 years old. She was born and raised in Bamberg, South Carolina which were she passed. Sally Mae was a strong and beautiful woman who always had a smile on her face throughout her struggle of Alzheimer’s. Once she was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s she still had the faith of god in her. There was never a moment in her life she felt sorry for herself because she knew there was somebody else going through something worse than her. She always said she was blessed and blessed she really was! Sally Mae never complained about her issues going on in her life because she knew her father above! She leaves behind her significant other her husband who is still alive John Johnson. She also leaves behind her four kids: Alicia Johnson (45), Damien Johnson (42), Nathanial Johnson(40), and Sarah Johnson(39). Sally leaves 13 grandchildren behind and 2 great-grandchildren. Sally Mae Johnson always quoted Psalm 19:14 “Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.” As we read and reread this quote that she always stated we can all figure and know where her heart was. So of course we will all miss her but we know where she resides. In a better place with our heavenly father.
