Grandma Ruth was a friend and Grandma to all. I best remember her by her baking. She made this famous strawberry pie that I have tried to recreate from memory, but not quite the same. When she died, all her friends came over and asked if there was something they could have of hers to remember her by, and they all took a pair of her gloves.
