Ruben “RJ” Jesus Arroyo

My beloved son RJ was a beautiful soul. He was 9 and 3/4 years old, just a baby. He loved life, was a gentle kid and family was everything to him. He loved the ocean, chocolate cake and his cat Max and beta fish, fishie. He enjoyed LEGOs as much as video games and learning. He loved baseball, swimming, skating and was learning to ride horses. He was looking forward to going to the county fair on the afternoon of the accident, his favorite ride was the giant slide, he planned on eating lots of fair food. We lost him in a car accident and we weren’t even able to tell him how much he is loved or say goodbye. It happened during the summer after third grade and we had to bury our child in the clothes we had just gotten for fourth grade. My heart is forever broken. I love, need and miss you my precious boy. His sister who was a month and a half shy of eight years old, was severely injured but survived. I’m doing the best I can to parent her but it’s the most difficult thing to be a grieving mother.
