Richard H. McCoy (“Rick”) of Bowie, Maryland, passed away on February 1, 2017 at the age of 73. Rick was employed as a master printer for over 40 years at a myriad of companies in Philadelphia, Delaware, and Maryland. Rick had a great love for sport cars, model air planes especially the (Lockheed SR-71), Star-Trek, reading science fiction books, and enjoyed playing a game of pincochle with his friends, and often found boasting how easy it was to “win”.
Funeral Notice Detail
Richard H. McCoy passed on at Doctors Community Hospital in the State of Marykans, cause of death was due to Septic Shock.Rick was preceded in death by his grandmother Rosa Thigpen McCoy Burrell, parents Marrivell Hubon (Mac) McCoy, and Agnes Smith McCoy Davidson. He leaves to cherish his memories four sons- Melvin, Avery(Yolanda ), Jelani and Jabari. His three grandsons- Von Michael , Elijah and Avery Jr. His companion of many years, Gale Hanks. Along with a host of other family and friends.Richard H. McCoy final resting place will be at Westwood Cemetary in Oberlin Ohio.
