Pat Pinnell
Place of birth: Saint Louis Missouri
Religious affiliation: Christian
James Peter Pinnell was born on February 15,1958 to the union of Rose Mary Pinnell and Alfred Pinnell both of whom preceded him to death. James Pat was a devoted loving father/brother/uncle and friend. He grew up in University City with his siblings George and Bette who preceded him in death and his siblings Maureen, Penne, Joe and Jack who continue theier mother Rose Mary’s legacy. He attended Delmar Harvard Elementary, Hanley Junior, and proceeded to University City High School where he graduated in 1977. He went on to work a variety of jobs but remained in the field of his choice which was being a mechanic. Pat was always the life of the party with his comedic personality, genuine smile and laugh. He became a father when his daughter Patricia Ann was born and embraced his new life with pride.
Later in life he bonded in matrimony with his forever sweetheart Piper Holly, and in their union they blossomed four beautiful children: Paige Arielle, Patrick James, Presten James and Peter James who they raised to become outstanding loving caring adults, sadly leaving them with years of countless memories. Despite his life long residency in University City he decided to reside in the new diverse loving memory of Maplewood where his passing occurred on February 23rd, 2017.
James was a well known and loved citizen in the community spreading kindness with his bright smile, conversation and uplifting personality. He will truly be missed but never forgotten and will always remain in our hearts and memories. Pat not only leaves his children behind as a legacy but also his remaining loving siblings Penne Wooldridge, Maureen Levy, Jack Pinnell, Joe Grasso and his closest of friends Dave Carter, Harry, Lee Pasho, Lori Thompson and Melanie Young and a host of many community and extended friends.
