Place of birth: Youngstown, Ohio
It is with tremendous sadness that the family of Marilyn Anne Bielawski (nee Risher) of Lincoln, DE… announces her passing after a brief illness, on Monday, February 26, 2018, at the age of 73 years. Marilyn will be forever remembered by her husband and best friend of almost 40 years, Anthony and her children… Jerry Aber, Gene (Marisol) Stout, Rick (Mary) Stout and Danielle Bielawski. She will also be fondly remembered by her 12 grandchildren… Drew, Evan, Sadie, Megan, Luca, Ezequiel, Malia, Josie, Brianna, Derek, Dustin and Ryan. And also by her ex-daughters’ in law, Karen Aber and Veronica Stout. Marilyn was also predeceased by her stepson, Tony (TJ) Bielawski and her grandchild, MaryAnn Misner. Marilyn, also known as Mar, to her husband Tony and close friends and neighbors, was a tough but very loving woman. She took on the role of “Mom” to many people other than her own children. Someone summed her up perfectly in just a few words to me today, “There is something to be said about a person who can love you endlessly and bust your balls at the same time.”. Anyone who knew her, would know how absolutely true that is. The family is following Marilyn’s wishes and she is being cremated by Berry-Short Funeral Parlor in Milford, DE. There will be no services but if anyone wishes to make donations in lieu of flowers, etc… please do so in her honor to either American Cancer Society (https://www.cancer.org/involved/donate/memorial-giving.html) or to Delaware Hospice Center (https://www.delawarehospice.org/donate-now/make-a-donation/).
