Marcus Carr

Marcus Jerome Carr, 50, passed away on Saturday, 8/1/15 at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City. His devotion to family and firm belief in God supported him during his battle with cancer.

Marcus grew up in Oklahoma, and spent most of his career as a over the road truck driver. He developed a strong passion in his youth to create and be apart of the music industry for which he spent countless hours pursuing throughout his life. This passion led him to follow his dreams in Los Angeles, California for a period of time. He ultimately befriended and established many successful and well known contacts in the industry which brought him a sense of satisfaction.

Preceded in death by his parents, Donald W. Carr and Barbara F. Carr, Marcus is survived by his mother, Barbara Carr; and brother Bryant Carr.

Marcus\'s body will be committed to the earth at St. Paul Cemetery in Luther, Oklahoma after a private service. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to donate to the St. Christopher Truckers Development & Relief Fund. ( http://truckersfund.org/donate )
