Lavina Goodman

Lavina Fay McAllester was born December 3. 1943 in Phoenix, Arizona and passed away January 12, 2017 in Maricopa, Arizona.She attended Creighton Elementary and attended high school at North High in Phoenix, Arizona. She graduated in 1962.She enjoyed western music and in her younger years, would go to Riverside Park Ball Room where many up and coming acts would play during the 50’s and 60’s.One time while in Holbrook visiting her brother Mac, she met Cadeaux (Orland Glen Goodman). That was it, he was the guy and she liked the way he danced too. So in 1970 they were married and  to this union came Amy and Cristy. They completed the family.Lavina worked at D.P.S. as a Data Entry Operator until she retired in 2009.Lavina’s parents Clyde B. and Dina McAllester pre-deseased her.She is survived by daughter’s Amy and Cristy, Son-In-Law Rock, three grand daughters Shelby, Bailee, Harlee, one grand son Wyatt and a great grand daughter London.Her brother whom she called “Carley” Mac, and sister in law Nancy, two nieces Lori and Kimberly, a nephew John Schultz(Lori) As well as brother’s inlaw, sisters’ in law, several nieces and nephews on the Goodman side of the faamily.Lavina will be missed by all who knew her.
