Place of birth: Idaho Falls, Idaho
Ken passed away unexpectedly on Monday December 12, 2016 at Howard County General Hospital in Maryland, due to a major heart attack. Ken was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Virgil and Margaret Ann (Poulsen) Howard on November 7th, 1950. The family moved to Utah and Ken graduated high school from Viewmont High School in Bountiful, Utah. Ken proudly served his country with the United States Marines and used the skills he learned in the service throughout life. He loved to spend time in the mountains hunting, off-roading and fishing. Ken married (later divorced) and became the proud father of two daughters. Ken found not only a great hobby but also a career as a truck driver and enjoyed seeing the country.
Ken is survived by his daughters Stephanie and Mallory, his sisters Jan and Judy (Dave), his niece Jennifer (Barney), and nephews Nick (Jade), Dennis (Miriam) and Tom, and many grandnieces and grandnephews. Preceded in death by his mother and step-father Margaret Ann and Steve Stevenson, father and step-mother Virgil and Madge Howard, and two sisters Suzanne and Jeannie.
A wake for family and friends will be announced at a later date so that those from out of town may travel to Salt Lake City safely. Interment will also be announced at a later date.
