Judith (Judy) Ann Purcell

Judy was born on November 3, 1940 in Santa Monica, California.  She attended Compton Jr College and while there she met the love of her life, Anthony Talaisea  Purcell (Tony).  They were married on December 25, 1960 at Silver Bells Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, Nevada.  In 1961, they welcomed the birth of their first son, Anthony Paul Purcell (Tony Jr).  In 1962, they were blessed with their first daughter, Trina LeVerra Purcell (Rowan), followed by another son, Timothy Talaisea Purcell (Timi) in 1964.  In 1971, Tina Epuna Purcell (Tofaeono) completed the family.  Judy loved her husband unconditionally and they celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary this past Christmas.  She loved laughing and playing practical jokes on her husband, friends, children and grand children.  Judy has nine grandchildren; James Maluia and Taylor Tiani (Tony and Stacy Purcell), Thomas Meafua (Tom and Trina Rowan), Sydney LeVila and Emma Penina (Tim and Stacey Purcell) and Teuila Epuna, Puataunofo Fuatino, Terenuku Talaesea, Tavita Iese (Tina and Terry Tofaeono). She also has a great grand daughter, Brooklyn Grace McClain(Taylor Purcell and Wesley McClain).  Our mother will be dearly missed, but her spirit continues to live on through the legacy she and our father created.
