James “Jimmy” Cannon
Place of birth: Houston, Tx
Religious affiliation: Christian
James “Jimmy” Cannon left this world to be with his Lord in heaven on January 2, 2018 surrounded by his loving wife and kids. When he arrived in heaven, in jeans and flannel, he was greeted by his parents, James Marvin Cannon and Mary Alice Cannon with hugs and love.
Jimmy was born on October 22, 1941 in Houston, Texas. He will be remembered as an amazing, giving man with a most sincere soul. He was a devoted husband, father and church member. He touched more lives than a mind can comprehend. He was a master electrician, loved fishing and just being around his people. He leaves behind a wife, Irene Cannon, daughter, Delinda Michael and husband, Duane Michael, a son, James Edward Cannon, Jr. and wife, Tami Cannon, five granddaughters, five great grand children, his sister, Mary Louise Wade, numerous nieces and nephews and friends too numerous to count including his best friend, Paula Boyd. He also had a special love for his kitties, Gracie and Goober, who are in mourning and missing their “Dad.”
Jimmy will be most remembered for his giving nature. If you asked, most of the time, he did. He put himself out for others as much as possible and gave more than the average human ever did. He loved with his whole heart and gave the best “Daddy” hugs even to those who were not his kids. He had a strong heart until the end and he will forever live in our heart and soul.
Celebration of life and memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Life Connection Church, 3109 E Old Settlers Blvd, Round Rock, TX 78665.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made at the online Giving page at www.LifeConnectionRR.org care of the Cannon Family or by texting your giving amount and “Cannon” to 512-640-2226.
