In Memoriam of Heinz and Inge Glatzer: On Wednesday, July 22, 2015, as per their request, their Ashes were scattered “In the Atlantic Ocean with No Services”, off the coast of Bal Harbour’s, Baker’s Haulover Beach, North Miami, Florida. This date was significant as it was their Wedding Anniversary date. They were married 65 years. Heinz passed away on December 20, 2014 and his wife, Inge, passed away shortly after him on January 7, 2015. Heinz and Inge immigrated from Germany in 1955 with their eldest daughter, Marion who was 5 years old at the time, to New York where they raised their 3 daughters. Heinz commuted, for many years to Ford Motor Company in Mahwah, New Jersey where he worked in the Paint Department, where he made the different colors of paint for Ford vehicles. Inge worked for Ramapo Catskill Library System, as a Library Clerk, in Middletown, NY. They retired in Fort Pierce, Florida where they made their home for 29 years.
