Eddie was the second oldest of six children born to Eddie J. and Virginia Anderson, and the only son. The family’s early years were spent in Georgia and relocated to Hudson, Ohio in 1966.  Eddie attended and graduated from Hudson High School after which he attended the Columbus Technical Institute in Columbus, Ohio. 

Eddie’s career/places of employment included; Excel Printing, Tavens Packing & Solutions, SES as Director of Marketing and Sales (of Transformers) Coleman Brothers Inc, Environmental Services, and Lakeland Contractors (working in asbestos removal), managed a coffee shop, an independent contractor, and as a member of the maintenance crew at Highland Golf Course.

Eddie was married and later divorced from Vickie Anderson and born to this union was his only child, Lauren.  He described his daughter as the greatest achievement in his life of whom he was most proud.  Eddie was the only brother to his five sisters; Cynthia, Rosemary, Donna, Darlene, and Tammy all of whom loved him so much and others believed were responsible for spoiling him.

Eddie had many self-taught hobbies at which excelled, besides golf, he was an artist, a left/right-handed bowler, and a tennis player.  Of his many accomplishments, Eddie was an accomplished musician; taught himself to play the trumpet, piano, and guitar.  His first job as a musician was as a member of The Chosen Few Band and he later formed his band The Band 2527. 

Some of Eddie’s Favorite pastimes included; spending holidays with our family,  showing off his excellent cooking skills, spending early mornings with his friends for coffee at McDonald’s, watching all Cleveland sports teams, watching golf, and his daily 5:00 am walks.  He was a true extrovert having never met a stranger, a people person, loved to socialize, and was very charismatic.

Eddie was a fighter throughout his life having survived previous health challenges.  Aft a brief illness, he lost his earthly battle with cancer on January 12, 2023.  His loss was and continues to be grieved by not only his family but the many friends whose lives were impacted by his presence throughout his life.
