Dennis Raymond McKinney died unexpectedly on October 7, 2016 at the age of 34. Dennis was born in Bryan, Texas on October 8, 1981. He was a native of Clarkston, Michigan but had resided in Virginia Beach, Virginia for the past several years.
Dennis is survived by his son Chase; parents Jennifer (Gordon) Belanger, Todd (Brandi) McKinney; brothers Paul (Kelli) McKinney, Andy McKinney, and Patrick Belanger; sister Sabrina McKinney; grandparents Dallas (Pauline) McKinney and Linda (Roger) Crisman; aunts Diane Mosher, Julie (Dale) Pomeroy and Mary (Tom) Davidson and many cousins. He will be missed dearly by Kailyn, Grace, Ava, Shannon, Carey and numerous friends.
He was preceded in death by Grandparents Raymond (Patricia) Yost; Aunt Robin Johnson, Uncles Dennis McKinney and Raymond Yost II.
Dennis’s greatest love was spending time with his son, but his first love was spending time outdoors hunting and fishing with his uncle Raymond and brothers. He enjoyed spending time at his grandparents’ cabin in Northern Michigan and was a devoted Detroit Tigers fan. Dennis love country music and playing the guitar. He was a gifted industrial electrician and most recently worked at Relay Electric in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Dennis was a selfless man who was well loved and respected by many.
