Wishing you and your family the most peace during this sad time. You were such a kind person to me during one of my most difficult times. I will always remain thankful for you and the opportunity to be one of your many friends. Chad

I've been friends with Wesley since the Martin Park days. We grew up playing in the neighborhood, baseball at Civitan, his dad coached me a year or 2. I'd like to share a funny story. My family and I went out to eat at Logan's Roadhouse when Wesley was working there in the late 90's. It was after church one Sunday. Anyway You know how Lagan's gives you the yeast rolls and all that butter with them. Well he dropped a couple of those cups of butter on my (now X) brother-in -law. Ha ha! Anyway he just kept on being a server and picked them up and whiped his shoulder off. He was like "Oh I'm sorry let me get that for you. Very sad to hear of his passing he was a very good person. Rest in peace Wes, you will be missed by many.

    My Best Friend

My Uncle Wesley was one of my best friends. He understood me more then most, and when I needed comfort or advice, he knew what to do. I will always love him. I know that he is in a better place now, but I wanted to say one last goodbye. He helped me when I needed it most. He always knew what to do. I love him as much as I love Dustin. He was apart of the family also. I know he's justa' dancin' to Greased Lightin' with Pawpaw Ernie and everyone else we have lost. I love you Uncle Wes. Forever and Always Abby

Wes, we are so thankful and blessed that you came into our lives. Polar opposite of Dustin....but yet you completed each other. I loved that. I will forever miss your sweet smile , quick wit, and exuberance for life. You never failed to cheer me up and make me smile, in any circumstance! If the measure of love from family and friends could cure us.....Your would be with still be with us. You are on a far better journey dear boy, and I will see you again ! Forever in our hearts........Love and peace, I thank my God upon every remembrance of you!

    My special cousin

Where do I begin......william Wesley barker was definately one of a kind. But no matter where he went he always looked his best. My childhood memories are of wes, Stephanie and Matthew. Brooke came later but she is in my memories as well. All of us were always together from playing games outside while the parents were inside talking, to doing grease skits for the family when we were not outside, lol. Wesley also made sure I looked my best if I was going somewhere that called to be dressed up. I always wanted him to do my hair cuz he could always make it look better than I could. I am known as the "clown" cuz I always made all my cousins laugh by my weird faces to my silly acting. And in his final 2 weeks I was able to make wes laugh by sending him some funny videos. So knowing that I was able to make him laugh just makes my heart smile. The memories I have growing up with Wesley and his brother Matthew and sister Stephanie will stay with me forever.
