William moved to Henryetta, Oklahoma in December 1999 from Longview, Washington and was married to Vida Burris in February 2000 in the small town of Morris, Oklahoma. He gave up deep sea fishing in which he loved to do, for lake and river fishing with his wife.
Funeral Notice Detail
The only child of the late William (Pat) Murphy and Rose Boskavitch Murphy (Apache Junction, AZ), survivors include his wife of sixteen years, Vida Burris-Murphy of Checotah, OK., his only child Matthew Murphy of the home, his step-children Jason Burris of Wayne, OK., Jennifer Burris-Owens and son in-law Ben Owens of Owassa, OK. William Murphy passed from this life to be with his Lord on 5-23-16 with his loving wife at his side holding his hand.
