Veronica Michels

Place of birth: Los Angeles, CA

Religious affiliation: Christian

Veronica was an amazing wife, mother, daughter and friend. She loved her family with all her heart. She especially enjoyed being involved in all of her children’s school and sports activities. Everyone who met Veronica simply loved her. Her vibrant, contagious smile and beautiful spirit brightened every room. She had an incredible compassion for others, and a unique ability to connect with people on a deeply personal level. She was a great listener and cared enough to get involved and make a positive difference in people’s lives. Her generosity was legendary. Veronica also loved to have fun and enjoyed hosting celebrations with family and friends. She made it her mission to make everyone feel important. No task or detail was too small and she thoroughly enjoyed the process of making each event special and bringing joy to everyone in attendance. Most importantly, Veronica’s kind and beautiful soul was rooted in her strong Christian faith and in her love for Jesus. She has now been reunited with Michaela in the presence of our Lord.

Veronica, we love you and miss you immensely, but are comforted by our faith in Christ and the knowledge that we will see you again.

Dear John, Logan, and Luke, We are so saddened to learn of such a tremendous loss. We met Veronica at D&T's wedding and I have thought of her many times since then. She had a glowing and loving smile that is hard to forget. More so, her genuine warmth and thoughtful nature was so evident. Even having just met me, she was so easy to talk and laugh with. She was a beautiful person who will be sorely missed. Our hearts are with you. Love, Tracy, Stephen, and Kai

Oh Veronica, you were a true Angel. My niece was a recipient of your daughters foundation scholarship the same year that my nephew past away in a tragic car accident. My sister and her family Live on the same street where her daughter left to Heaven. I remember Veronica hugging my sister and telling her that she was going to help her with her grief as she was helped. She gave my sister comfort and hope to have a better tomorrow. Since then my sisters health has been not so good.including her sadness of the loss of her son. In the past few months I've had Veronica in my mind including the last few days when my sister and I remembered her on the 16th. A great person is never forgotten. My condolences to The family from Ray Ortega and my Sister and her family Sandra Rivas. THANK YOU for touching our lives.

My Dearest Veronica, I've been trying to write this for a few days, yet I am at a loss for words. I still can't believe that your gone form this earth, but knowing that you are reunited with your baby girl brings me comfort. What can I say about the woman that made everyone feel so special and so loved? Veronica I will miss so many things about you, your sweet presence, your smile, your laugh, your sense of style, your ability to show love and comfort to others but most of all I will miss your heart! You have taught me so many things by the way you lived. Your faith is so strong and your commitment to your family and friends is beautiful. I felt so loved by you and you always let me know how much you cared for me. No matter how busy life got, we always made time to squeeze in a breakfast or lunch at Panera to catch up on each others lives, and always laughed at how fast time flew as we were always late to whatever commitment followed our get-togethers. One of our favorite things to do (if we had 20-30 minutes spare before picking the kids up from school) was to do a Forever 21 run and buy clothing items we would later joke were to "young" for us! My kids always referred to you as my "fun" friend and loved you dearly! I'm not sure what to do now that your gone. You were never afraid to be honest with me, always gave me the best advice and always put things perfectly into perspective for me. We are all heartbroken here, and can't wait to be reunited with you in heaven someday. Veronica I love you so much and will miss you more than words! I promise to keep your family close, and show them that unconditional love that you have showed me all these years. With All My Love Forever, Becky

John- I have visited this site several times and have wanted to reach out to you and your boys. I am so shocked and heartbroken that beautiful Veronica is no longer here. Each time I look at her picture I see that radiant smile she'd always greet us with and remember how wonderful it felt to get her great big hugs. I loved how she made me feel so important and would listen intently when we talked. She never missed an opportunity to ask me how I was after my Mom died and even the last time I saw her she asked me to share memories of my Mom. I loved being around her-she made the room light up and everyone around her felt included in her joy. I will always remember all those fun dinners and parties we spent together, especially all the antics we pulled at Chris and Andrea's wedding. She was so beautiful inside and out and I will miss her very much. John-She loved you very much! She was so proud to be your wife. I loved the way she talked about you and how excited she'd get to p;an your birthday, especially when it was a surprise. You and the boys were her joy in life. I loved seeing all the pictures of your adventures and hearing about your family time. You gave her a wonderful, happy life. We are all better people for having known and loved her. I am heartbroken that we must live on Earth without her, but I know when we see her in Heaven she'll welcome us with a big hug and a stunning smile. . We will continue to share stories of your beautiful Veronica and be there to support you and the boys always. We love you and your family very much.. -Jeff and Darlene
