Robert J. (Bob) Corcoran of Elverson, PA passed away peacefully Thursday evening February 23rd with his loving family present for this journey. Bob is survived by his wife Mary Ann, children Kevin (Rosanne), Brian (Stephanie) and Maureen and grandchildren Rosemary, Erin, Brennan, Molly, Joseph and Samantha. He was preceded in death by his parents Andrew and Marie (Norman) Corcoran.

Bob led an active life leaving a lasting impact on all he met. His dedication and humor influenced lives in his personal and professional worlds. This includes his tenure as Reading/English teacher at Candlewood Junior High School in the Half Hallow Hills School District (Dix Hills, NY) for 33 years, boys and girls basketball coach, lector at St. Gerard and St. Peter churches, AARP Tax-Aide for 12 years, active member of his Summerfield community and as an ice cream man in Selden, NY.

Funeral Notice Detail

Viewing will be held prior to funeral ceremony on March 3 from 10:00-11:00am at St. Peter Church in West Brandywine, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Peter Church Parish Hall, 2835 Manor Rd, Coatesville, PA 19320 and St. Joseph's Church, 3159 NY-9N, Greenfield Center, NY 12833.
