Pastor Ramon Quintana (R.I.P) passed away June 14, 2016

Timothy 4:7-8
7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
8 Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge,will award to me on that day–and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.

Pape went on to live with the Lord, his memory and teachings will always be with us. If our eyes cannot see him, let him always remain in our memory. If we cannot speak to him, then let us always speak about him. Our hope in the Lord is that we will one day meet again.

His wife of 55 years Irma Ramirez, children: Juan Ramon Quintana, Maribel Quintana, Magda Roman Quintana, Juan Gerardo Quintana, Damaris Garcia Quintana, Isaias Quintana, Eliezer Quintana, and Joel Quintana, nieces, nephews, and family are thankful to everyone who, in one way or another, accompanied us, gave us strength, and prayer during his sickness.

This was Pape’s favorite Psalm, which he recited every night after service to the church he pastored for over 25 years (Segunda Iglesia Pentecostal Juan 3:16, Asamblea de Dios in Port Chester, NY).

Psalm 121
1 I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from?
2 My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.
3 He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber;
4 indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The Lord watches over you— the Lord is your shade at your right hand;
6 the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night.
7 The Lord will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life;
8 the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.
