Peggy Gardner Kaylor

Place of birth: None

Peggy Gardner Kaylor of Winston-Salem, NC, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 15, 2020, in her home, with family by her side.Peggy was born February 28, 1935, to Carson and Aline Gardner in Staunton, Virginia.  My hero. My best friend. Mom was the strongest, most compassionate person I have or will ever know. Her greatest joy was caring for others. There is not a young person that grew up with either of my boys that wasn’t loved and cared for by “Momu”. We always had a house full of boys, and whether it was just one or an entire baseball team, Momu made sure they were well fed, and had blankets and pillows if needed. She loved each of them. I hope they know just how much joy they brought to her life. I’m not sure how I go on without her, but I will try to live by her example and hopefully make her proud.
