Paula Spurlock was an intriguing woman born in Oklahoma and lived most of her adult life in Texas.  She was a paralegal and proud of her work.   She received her degree from Rose State College in Oklahoma.  She loved acting and the glamorous life, as well.  Paula was an extra in a few movies and on the TV show, Walker Texas Ranger.  She played the flute for all her life.  Her love of art included ceramics, painting, singing, and crocheting.  Almost everyone she knows has a blanket made from her hands and love.  Her red velvet cakes were the best in the world. She loved music from Elvis Presley to Iron Butterfly.   She loved movies, like “Romancing the Stone” and “Star Trek” and “Casper”. Paula passed away suddenly from complications after open heart surgery.  She is survived by her husband – Robert Spurlock, her two children – Erik Spurlock and Krystal Richardson, and six grandchildren. Her memorial services will be held on November 3rd, 2018 at 2:00PM at First Christian Church of Garland (115 S. Glenbrook Dr., Garland, TX 75040).
