March, 15, 1955 Molleza Opelia Hunter Scipio was born in Florence South Carolina. In 1965 she moved to Harlem NEW YORK. Mollella was only 14 years old when she came to Yonkers NEW YORK and made a home for her family. Many people knew her as “NANA,” “MA,” and most of all “LADY BLUE” because of her signature blue hair. This was a woman that was a role model in many people’s life. As she would say “If I ain’t do it or tried it…you don’t try it”. Although she went home to GOD in Haven, she leaves us all with memories and stories that will keep us laughing for a life time. This 4′ 11 blue haired funny lady touched so many lives. This was a woman that would answer the phone on the first ring 4:00 in the morning, and listen to whatever was on your mind

On October, 30,2014 6:00 am GOD call Molleza home. We gather at Sinatra Funeral Home to say our goodbyes to Mother Blue. She leaves behind mother Lizzie Scipio, oldest sister Margaret Scipio Greene, younger brother Lamar Scipio, nephew Lamar Scipio, 3 daughter Ernestine Scipio, Shekniqua Scipio, Margarita Scipio, her 11 grand children Shanique Scipio, Shakeema Scipio, Shelia Scipio, Shanaya Scipio, Shaquana Scipio Jennings, Shanasia Scipio, John Bey Scipio, Sharnae Scipio Brooks, Tyler Scipio Coleman,and Tamia Spirit Scipio, grand niece Shardae Scipio, 3 great grand daughters Dajanique Scipio Burwell Scipio, RayLynn Scipio Couto, Molleza is also home with her great grandson Dajon Scipio rnrnMolleza would say if you a problem you have to take it to the Heavenly Father. She would say "If you want your prayers answered you have to come in the name of Jesus, 'Jesus I ask in your name to plead my case to the Heavenly Father.'"
