Michael Chanse Thurston left us suddenly! He was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Chanse is predeceased by a brother. Jay Thomason. He is survived by his fiance. Paula Willford. Of the home. His brother, Chris Thurston of Greenville and his parents. Also surviving are brothers Stephen Putnam of Travelers Rest and Josh Thomason of Greenville. Chanse hiked the Appalachian Trail 11 years ago. There was a private service at the home of the deceased.
Chanse was a childhood friend that always brightened any room he entered. I have spent many of days at the Thurston's home skateboarding with Chanse and the Wade Hampton crew, and let me tell you that's a tight group of friends that I was fortunate to be a part of. You will be forever missed my brother but never forgotten. Until we met again bro, hold things down until we all reunite. Much love bro.
Chanse was my first friend ever that I can remember and bestie through grade school. We liked to skate board, listen to punk rock and get in to trouble. Life was carefree and It was the best of times. I will miss you Michael Chanse Thurston Jr.
Brother Chance, You are going to be missed a lot! Glad we got to reconnect last fall working. I definitely learned a lot about true friends from you. Rest in peace my friend.
Hey Paula. I am very sorry for your loss. I know EXACTLY what you are going through. My fiance passed away 2 months ago as well on April 5, 2016. I don't think it gets better or easier,I think we just learn to cope with it. Prayers going up to you my old friend. If you need anything u can always catch me online...Love ya girl
Chanse is the love of my life! He left us tragically, but it doesn't make me love him any less. I'm not sure how I'm supposed to go on without him, I guess time Will make it better. He is the strongest, sweetest. Most loving, hard headed man I've ever met! I didn't get to Marry the Man of my dreams:--( but we will get our'together forever' one day! He's my love. My life. My reason, my EVERYTHING!! And will be till we meet again! Where I'll kick his butt. Then wrap my arms around him and never let him go!
