On Sunday October 11, 2015 Michael E. Hammer lost his life with the battle of PTSD. Michael has served his country honorably for 18 years of Military Service with the United States Army. He joined the military at the age of 18 years old and enlisted to serve his country. He has 3 combat deployments to Iraq.
Michael in his spare time loved helping his fellow veterans and spending time with his two nephews. He is survived by his father Michael Hammer and his mother Muriel Hammer both of Wading River, NY. Also survived by his two brothers Shawn Michael Hammer and Timothy Hammer and two sisters Elizabeth Hammer and Michaela Hammer. His two nephews Timothy Hammer and Patrick Hammer.
