Oliver was the sweetest dog in the world. He was very timid around most people, but he loved those close to him unconditionally. He would follow me everywhere, always at my heals, always curled up next to me. He loved to play and get his belly rubbed, but would only do this if he really trusted you. He would always curl up on my lap, in the car, on the couch, or wherever I was. Oliver was there for me for all of my young adult life. I adopted him after I graduated from college and had just gotten my first real job. He was there through many moves, grad school, relationships, heartbreak, loss, finding love, getting engaged, getting married, buying a house, and having a baby. He was part of our pregnancy announcement. He went on many vacations with us, and was just the best company. Barely 5 pounds and he filled the house. I love him with all my heart and always will. He was my angel on earth.
