Place of birth: Saing Louis, MO

Religious affiliation: Other

Melody Marlynn Foster was born on February 4, 1963 to the loving parents of Robert L.A. Foster and Magnolia Foster; transitioned to be with the Lord on August 19, 2014, after an extended illness. Melody’s Father Robert preceded her in death; as well as Papa Haynes, whom she loved dearly; preceded her in his great transition. In addition, a brother Ronald preceded her in death.

At an early age, Melody was saved and filled with the Holy Ghost. She joined the Church of the Refuge under the late Pastor Adrian Haynes in 2004. He continued to nurture her in godliness and holiness; until he transitioned. She recommitted her life in Christ, in early June of 2014.

Melody received her education in the St. Louis Public School System. Continued her education at Mansfield Business College, and went on to graduate.

She was employed as Manager at White Castle for 14 years; until her health declined.

She was a very giving, loving person with a warm heart. Melody viewed family as a very important part of her life. Even in her frail condition, she gave of herself, tirelessly. She loved cooking; listening to music; working on her computer and watching movies. She had two dogs she cared about very much, Baby and Sky. Melody was endearingly referred to by her devoted, loving Mother as, “Melody of Love.”
