Mason Yajtsim Lee

Place of birth: Saint Paul, MN

Our precious son, Mason Yajtsim Lee, was born with Fanconi Anemia, which caused multiple congenital anomalies. Despite many challenges, he always proved his doctors wrong, overcoming everything with a smile on his face. In his short lifetime, he taught the world about Fanconi Anemia, the benefits of bone marrow donation, and how to approach the world with optimism during tough times. He was also the inspiration for the founding of Hmong Helping Hands, a nonprofit offering advocacy and support to Hmong families with special needs and disabilities in the Twin Cities. Mason was full of life and brightened every room he walked into. Certainly, he has left his footprints in many hearts and will forever be missed.
