Lester Ray Foster, 76, born in Ada, OK, died Friday, March 10, 2017 in his sleep. His wife, Jean, had passed just a week before. He leaves his two daughters; Nikki Albritton and Pamela Hughes; his son Mark Ellis; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and many close friends. He was the son of Elroy and Mary Foster. Lester “Red” enjoyed working for the city the past 30 years. He was married to Jean for 56 years. Red was so full of life, he was so much fun to be around, and full of love. He had met Jean one day at a restaurant in the city, they have been inseparable since. Red and Jean enjoyed the outdoors. They were outside most of their time. They loved going fishing, hiking, swimming, camping. Red was a hands on man, he spent a lot of time working on cars. Whether it was his, a friends, or one of the kids. He would drop whatever he was doing at the time to come help. He was such a great husband, father, grandfather, friend. He always knew how to have a great time.
Funeral Notice Detail
Lester upon his wishes will be cremated. We will be having a celebration of life ceremony on March 13, 2017 at 2pm.
