On Friday March 27,2015, God called home June Yvonne Christy-Daugherty. June Yvonne Christy-Daugherty was born on March 30, 1920 in Danville, Kentucky.

June Christy Daugherty was educated in the Danville Independent School systems where he attended Danville High School, and participated in many after school programs and volunteer work with students that where handicapped, where she met her first love June Thomas Daugherty.

June Yvonne Christy-Daugherty was employed at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Hospital for 35 years. She accepted Christ at an early age , and frequently attend different church services.

June Yvonne Christy-Daugherty was the center of the family gatherings. She was dedicated to her job and loved to cook and take care of kids, and there was never a time she didn’t have a million dollar smile. June Yvonne Christy-Daugherty was more than a mother to her children but a wonderful grandmother to her grandchildren.

June Yvonne Christy-Daugherty leaves to mourn her husband June Thomas Daugherty, her three children: Mark Daugherty (Sunae Daugherty), Gwen Buffington, Charles Daugherty(Sharron Durham-Daugherty). Grandchildren: Shea Huston, Gina Daugherty, Catherine Daugherty. Great grandchildren: Nigel Huston, Dominique Higgins, Eric Higgins III, Nyemaha Daugherty, Clarence Daugherty.

June Yvonne Christy-Daugherty was preceded on death by her husband June Thomas Daugherty.
