Place of birth: Reading, PA
John was born to Howard Franz and Eva Miller Franz on March 10, 1939. Due to unfortunate circumstances, he grew up in foster care and, at the age of twelve, went to live at Pennhurst. He left there in 1976 and moved to Spring City where he worked at the Spring City Hotel. This is where he met the love of his life and wife, Patricia Franz. They have a son Johnny and three beautiful grandchildren, Dominic, Lucyanna and Angel. He loved his family very much. John was a particular guy who said what was on his mind. He was loyal and a good friend. He has been lucky to be supported by Kelsch Associates and Chester County through his life endeavors since leaving Pennhurst.
